Seda’s new recyclable and compostable packaging for Carte d’Or

Seda has partnered with Carte d’Or to launch a new revolutionary packaging for its iconic ice cream range, featuring a see-through window on the lid that offers an even more appealing product appearance.

The new oval compostable paperboard container is made with 100% PEFC certified fibers coupled with a layer of PLA (Polylactide, a corn-based) that makes the packaging waterproof and therefore suitable for ice cream.

The materials used to develop this packaging ensure full recyclability in the paper stream or compostability in the organic collection, helping to remove around 520 tons of plastic from the market in just one year.
